Its a simple thing to do SMTP mail setting to your website and web based application.
Step 1: Go to your hosting cpanel.
Stip 2: Go to Email accounts
Step 3: Create account with password
Step 4: Click on email client settings
Step 5: Collect Mail Host, SMTP Port & your email credential
Step 6: Then put them in your application's SMTP settings
